Pumpkin Patch 2015

We had a blast at the Pumpkin Patch this year!!!!

National Guard

Today the Oregon National Guard landed one of their Chinooks at our school and talked with all of our students. The students loved watching it land, learning about their mission, and getting to see inside of the Chinook. It was an awesome experience for all involved. Below you can see pictures of the event as well as a video of the Chinook landing.

Pen Pal Letters

Today we mailed out our letters to our Pen Pals in Wisconsin. We walked to the post office here in Helix and watched the letters get weighed and stamped to be sent off. It was an exciting little field trip. Hopefully we will here back from our pals soon. 

American Flag Mosaic

This year we were given a wonderful gift from an artist by the name of Ryan Gary. He created a beautiful mosaic of the American Flag for our Elementary hallway. Today we made thank you cards and took a picture with our Elementary students to say thank you to him for his gift.
